Description:
Special Education Tutors with TutorGigs are responsible for the achievement and support of critical students. They will work with students who have a wide range of learning, cognitive, emotional, and physical disabilities. They teach various subjects, such as reading, writing, and math, to students with gaps of 2 or more years. The main goal is to close that gap by 2 years.
This position involves helping school faculty with the assessment of student special needs, the implementation of unique IEP’s, and the use of culturally relevant and socially mature tutoring to build a relstionship of trust and respect with the student that allows them to master the academic, behavioral and social skills necessary to succeed in university. Special Education tutors will also set ambitious goals for student achievement and diligently track student progress.
Engagement is fully online, during the class day, hours available to pick and choose with a fully customizable schedule designating your availability. You can work as few or as many hours as you are available.
We offer $25/hr and you will be reimbursed for any charges for background check and/or fingerprint verification.

2024-2025 SCHOOL POSITIONS NEW MEXICO
Hiring on-site Clinical Fellows, $80,000 per school year. These are full time positions working with elementary students and or preschoolers in districts with exceptional education standards. Additional opportunities in a private clinic setting are available as well. Benefit packages are available.
$38 -$40 per hour for Apprentices in Speech-Language Pathology. Requires a bachelor’s degree in communication sciences and disorders/speech-language pathology. Must qualify for an Apprentice license from the NM licensure board. Two to three days a week are available working with elementary and preschool students. Benefits, including an educational stipend, are available.
